As you know version 2.9 of WordPress to create small bug with cron jobs feature, so the job scheduling before the time was not working correctly. WordPress community acted pretty quickly to fix everything, though, and the new version is already available.
You will see a notice to upgrade the dashboard.
Otherwise just head to WordPress.org and download the version 2.9.1 manually.
There were some other minor issues fixed as well, so if you are using 2.9 make sure to update.
